Jane Zepeda, PA-C

Jane grew up in Lewisville, Texas and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2007. She attended PA school at UT Southwestern, where she obtained her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies with Alpha Eta honors in 2010. She has been practicing as a PA since 2011. Jane is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She holds memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology chapter of AAPA. She and her husband have a baby girl and 2 mini schnauzers. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on eating adventures, and traveling.

Jane is able to see both our adult and pediatric patients and manage their medications or therapy as necessary. She will be available for clinic office visits as well as assisting with phone messages. We hope that our patients will enjoy the convenience of being seen more quickly for acute issues requiring evaluation. We would like to emphasize to our patients, that as a Physician Assistant, Jane works closely with all three physicians to coordinate patient care. You may see her exclusively or on an occasional basis, as you prefer. The Physician Assistant training involves a similar curriculum, training facilities, and training faculty as a Physician. This ensures that the PA develops similar medical reasoning and use of medications as the Physician. The responsibilities of a PA include conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling on preventive care, and prescribing medications.
